By opening an account with GFC Group, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms govern your use of all GFC Group services, including online banking, mobile applications and in-branch services.
2. Eligibility
To open and maintain an account with GFC Group, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
- Be a resident of a country in which GFC Group operates.
- Provide valid, verifiable identity documents as required by applicable law.
- Not be subject to any sanctions, prohibitions or restrictions under applicable regulations.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
- Keep your login credentials strictly confidential at all times.
- Notify GFC Group immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.
- Ensure all information provided to GFC Group is accurate and up to date.
- Use GFC Group services solely for lawful purposes.
4. Fees & Charges
GFC Group may apply fees for certain services as outlined in the Schedule of Charges published on our website. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before introducing any new fees or modifying existing charges. All applicable taxes are in addition to stated fees.
5. Interest Rates
Interest rates on savings and deposit accounts are variable and may change at any time in response to market conditions or regulatory requirements. GFC Group will notify account holders of any changes via registered email or the online banking portal at least 14 days in advance.
6. Limitation of Liability
GFC Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from service interruptions, technical failures or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Our liability is limited to the amount of the transaction directly concerned.
7. Termination
GFC Group reserves the right to suspend or close any account at its discretion, with or without notice, where there is reasonable cause to believe that the account is being used in violation of these Terms, applicable law or regulation.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which GFC Group is licensed to operate. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
